||||||||||||||||||||
Description |
The Mount Baker Boathouse appears at the forefront of the photograph and the Spring Hill pump station appears in the distance. The original boathouse building was removed and replaced with a new structure in 1946. The pump station originally supplied water to Spring Hill (later called Beacon Hill) but it stopped being used in 1901 when the city began receiving its water supply from the Cedar River.
