Description
Español: Mosteiro de San Lourenzo de Carboeiro. Silleda El monasterio de Carboeiro se construyó entre los siglos X y XII, y las sensibles autoridades gallegas de los siglos XX y XXI se han encargado de mantenerlo en un estado lamentable. Afortunadamente, por fin alguien se ha dado cuenta de que algo había que hacer y las tareas de restauración poco a poco - muy poco a poco - van devolviendo al entorno el estado que merece. Situado en un meandro del Deza, elevado sobre el nivel del río, tiene ya recuperada la iglesia de tres naves y la cripta de inmensos pilares. En sus alrededores, bajando hasta el río, crecen los castaños y mucha otra flora autóctona.
