Summary
[edit]DescriptionMoss Lane, Cockerham Sands - geograph.org.uk - 1636194.jpg |
English: Moss Lane, Cockerham Sands The farmhouse is dated 1812, and has a staircase window with a 'Gothic' pointed arch, the tail end of the 18C fashion and long before Victorian Gothic. The former farm buildings are in the foreground; I was amused by the footpath sign pointing towards a high wall. A field on the far side, which is just into Thurnham parish, is used as a caravan site, and beyound that there is another farm, with a very old farmhouse half hidden by trees. |
