Morus alba trees in Nesher. The trees were planted in 1922 in attempt to build silk industry by Edmond James de Rothschild עצי תות לבן בנשר באזור ליד בית החרושת. העצים ניטעו על ידו בנות קבוצת אחוה בשנת 1922 במסגרת ניסיון של הברון רוטשילד להקים תעשיית משי במקום. הניסיון לא צלח. קבוצת אחווה הקימה לאחר מכן את קיבוץ יגור עץ תות בתוך שטח בית הקברות המוסלמי של חיפה ששכן בלב נשר במקום שכנו לפני כן צריפי תושבי נשר |
