DescriptionMorning Haze (Tianjin, China).jpg | I wonder about the haze that seems to eternally envelope Tianjin. Perhaps it's the mist emanating from the Hai He River, maybe the usual fog of the last months of the year, or the smog brought by industrial pollution. This photo was taken from a pedestrians bridge that leads to the Ancient Culture Street where remnants of Tianjin's ancient past is showcased for curious tourists. It shows a bit of the city's colonial past through the European-inspired buildings on the left, and China's emergence as an industrial and economic superpower as symbolized by the high rise buildings in the background (October 2010). | ||
