Description
English: Monument to emperor Alexander II of Russia in Minsk (1901) now Belarus
Русский: Памятник Александру II в Минске. Чёрный гранит, постамент – четырёхгранная призма. Надпись"Императору Александру II. Благодарные граждане города Минска. 1900 год". Это был первый скульптурный памятник в Минске, который появился в городе в январе 1901 г. У основания памятника располагались мраморные столбики, соединенные цепью. В темное время суток он освещался двумя электрическими фонарями.
