| Description |
Français : Aux abords de l'ancienne muraille médiévale de la ville, un monument au mort fut réalisé en 1956 pour honorer les disparus des deux grandes guerres ainsi que de la guerre d'Algérie. La ville avait déjà un monument au même endroit et de même fonction avant ça. Mais les nazis n'ont pas aimé l'aspect trop français (ou le sculpteur trop juif) et l'ont détruit en 1941 ou 1942. Cette nouvelle monture, dans un style bien plus moderne, y représente une femme, une mère, une sœur tenant un homme mort pendant une de ces foutues guerres.
