Description
Nederlands: Allemawei 5, Oudwoude Boerderij

Allema state De Allemastate dateert in oorsprong uit de 14 eeuw. Er stond toen een blokvormig, dubbel omgracht huis, een zaalstins, met zeer dikke muren en kleine ramen, en een verdieping met trapgevel. In het begin van de 17e eeuw is de verdieping afgebroken, mogelijk na schade door de allesverwoestende Allerheiligenvloed van 1570.

Met de afbraakstenen is een stal aan het huis gebouwd. In de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw werd deze stal aanzienlijk vergroot en kreeg de Allemastate zijn huidige vormL een kop-romp-boerderij.
