| Description |
English: Montgomery Canal near Abermule. This section of the Montgomery Canal is in water, but as yet still isolated from the navigable sections. The towpath is in very good condition and is part of the Severn Way, which follows the canal rather than the river from Newtown to Pool Quay. Although the A483 is adjacent, the heavily wooded banks hide most of the traffic. |
