Description
English: Judgment passed on 28 November 1874 by the district court in Kolín concerning the dispute between Mojžíš Petschek (1822–1888), the founder of a distinguished family of entrepreneurs, and spouses Josef and Anna Formánek who were ordered to pay 200 fl orins including interest and court expenses.(State District Archives Kolín, District court Kolín, file number III 2048/1874.)
Čeština: Rozsudek Okresního soudu v Kolíně ze dne 28. listopadu 1874 ve sporu Mojžíše Petschka (1822–1888) s manžely Josefem a Annou Formánkovými, kteří nakonec museli uhradit obnos 200 zlatých, včetně úroků a soudních výloh. Mojžíš Petschek byl židovský podomní obchodník z Kolína, který zbohatl na spekulacích s pozemky a získané finanční prostředky investoval do podnikání s uhlím. Stal se zakladatelem významné podnikatelské rodiny – obchodní syndikát jeho synů Isidora (1854–1919), Julia (1856–1932) a Ignaze (1857–1934) měl ve své době ovládat až 50 % evropskétěžby uhlí. Za účelem péče o finanční záležitosti rodiny dokonce založili v Praze bankovní dům. V roce 1939 mělo toto rodinné průmyslové a bankovní impérium hodnotu asi 232 milionů marek.(SOkA Kolín, Okresní soud Kolín, spis. zn. III 2048/1874.)
