| Description |
English: Mobile Library, Bangor. Mobile Library, photographed as it sat in the car park at Luke's Point - this is not a stopping place and it was probably here as the driver was having his tea.
This Mobile Library is one of several operated by the South Eastern Education & Library Board. Based in Holywood, it operates throughout North Down and the Ards peninsula visiting local schools, care homes, individual housebound clients and at rural and urban 'public stops'. From 1st April 2009 this mobile, along with every branch Library in Northern Ireland, will move away from the education and library board and be under the control of the all new Northern Ireland Library Authority. |
