Description
English: Page 24 of The Queenslander Pictorial, supplement to The Queenslander, 17 November 1917 Leaving Murgon at 6.30 a.m., over good roads, Miva Crossing was reached at 2.30 p.m., where it was found that the flood waters were sweeping over the crossing to a depth of 2ft. After serious consideration it was decided to chance the attempt to oross, which after considerable excitement proved successful, and the 50 yards of flood waters were safely negotiated. http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-page2540285
