Description
English: Quote: We have found it useful to publish (plank the drawing of the still unpublished Mithrian monument, which is relative to two cohorts of the Herculean II legion, although the inscription engraved on it has already been reproduced several times: 1 ° by M. Pelletier (Echo de Sétif, October 10, 1861); 51); 3 ° par M. Héron de Ville-fosse (Revue archéologique, 1876, p. 139); 4 ° parle Corpus IL, vm, 8,840.

Text: DEO INVICTO MYTRE LEG-I1 HERCVLIAE FEC CORS-X-ET-VII- VOTVM- SOLVERVN Read: Deo invicto Mytrae. Legionis Secundae Herculiae fecerunt cohortes X et VII. Votum solverunt libente animo.

Meaning (apprx): God unbeaten Mithras. Of the legion and the cohorts of 10th and 7th of the Second Herculean. A vow made only to resolve the troubles in mind.
