English: Miss Jekyll's Thunder House, Heath Lane, Busbridge. It is said that Gertrude Jekyll had this little tower built so that she could watch thunderstorms. The tower is triangular in plan, and was designed by Miss Jekyll's protégé, Edwin Lutyens in the days before he became widely known. |
