English: Minsmere Sluice: inside view This is where the Minsmere River New Cut leaves for the sea. At high tide, the sea level close the sluice gate; as the sea level falls, the pressure of the river water pushes the gate open and the flow begins again down the tube to the sea beyond the dunes |
