Description
English: St. Paul, Minnesota. Thousands of people gathered at the Minnesota state capitol building during the Minnesota Senate debate on a same sex marriage bill. The bill passed the Minnesota House of Representatives on May 9 by a vote of 75 to 59. The Minnesota Senate passed the bill this day by a vote of 37 to 30. The law delineates the rights of gay and lesbian couples to marry.
