Deutsch: Villa Verdin (früher Hubertusschlössl) in Millstatt / Kärnten / Österreich / Europäische Union. Station 69 des Millstätter Villenwanderwegs mit der Aufschrift: "An jener Stelle, wo die alte Brüggelschusterkeusche am See stand, errichtete Reichsgraf Nikolaus Kammeroffsky um 1880 eine Villa mit anliegendem Pferdestall. Vermutlich durch Spielschulden gezwungen, verkaufte er die Realität an Herrn Schuster, den Güterdirektor des Grafen Rothschild. Dieser errichtete am Seeufer nach dem Entwurf des Wiener Stadtbaumeisters Glaser 1894 das kleine Schloss, das zu den schönsten Bauwerken Millstatts zählt. Die Nachbarschaft Millstat ist seit 1952 im Besitz der Villa, welche heute als Hotel geführt wird." |
