English: Capt. Tristan Myers, receives a Bronze Star from Lt. Gen. Michael S. Tucker, commanding general of First U.S. Army, headquartered in Rock Island Arsenal, Ill., alongside with Capt. Ryan Wherfel (right), both recipients with the Illinois Army National Guard. Myers is from 2nd Battalion, 130th Infantry Regiment, 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team; and Wherfel is from 1st Battalion, 178th Infantry Regiment, 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The ceremony took place during half time during an NFL game at Soldier Field designated to honor troops on Nov. 16, a few days after Veterans Day in Chicago.
