Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A picture of damage created on a sheet using SOFS (TNO) test equipment. which illustrates . The image shows the characteristic flat and even pattern of the galling phenomenon, where the surface is sheared and flattened. The oxide surface is not totally broken thorough because of uneven flattening damage, where unaffected oxides are still present in the formed track. The pattern is consequently interpreted as a sign of mild adhesive material transfer with flattening damage.
