Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills of Tanzania to the southern plains of Masai Mara for the short rains every July through to October of each year, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. The great wildebeest migration in Africa is found in the Masai Mara and Serengeti ecosystem. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested rivers can hold them back in search of larch.
