Wednesday, September 11, 2013 -- Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman made remarks at the City of Middletown's annual September 11 remembrance ceremony, held at the South District Fire Headquarters. This year's service coincided with the dedication of the city's permanent 9/11 Memorial and Memorial Garden -- a joint project of the South Fire District and the firefighters union. Moments of silence were be held at 8:46 a.m. and 9:02 a.m.
