Description
English: Portrait of Michel Manzi, pastel on paper or oil on canvas [?], dim.: 70 x 70.3 cm. Former collection of Ambroise Vollard. Bought for 2 millions French Francs by Bénatoff with the help of Hildebrandt Gurlitt (Dresden), for the Wallraf-Richartz Museum in Koln (inv. WRM 2650) and exported in Germany in november 1941 by Theo Hermsen. Back in France in 1951 and collected by the Musée d'Orsay in 1986.
