Description
English: The Head of the German Ground Based units Brig. Gen Michael Hogrebe visited Israel this past week as a guest of The IADF CDR, Brig. Gen. Ran Kochav. The German Air Force have a professional and fruitful cooperation with the Israeli Air Force. During his visit to the IADF he participated in a professional panel and was briefed about the challenges facing the IADF. The general visited the 136 Arrow battalion , 66 battalion - National Early Warning Center and 947 Iron Dome battalion. BG Hogrebe and BG Kochav discussed the cooperation between the forces and have agreed on the activities and way ahead for the next years. This week we also commemorated the international holocaust day and 75th anniversary for the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau consternation camp.
עברית: ביקור מפקד ההגנה האווירית של גרמניה, גנרל (*) מייקל הוגרב, בישראל כאורח של מהגנ"א. חיל האוויר הגרמני מקיים שיתוף פעולה מקצועי ופורה עם חיל האוויר הישראלי. במהלך הביקור סייר הגנרל במערך ההגנ"א והשתתף בפאנל מקצועי אודות האתגרים העומדים בפני ההגנה האווירית. הבכיר ביקר בגדוד 136- חרב מגן, בגדוד 66 במרכז ההתרעה הלאומי ובגדוד 947 - כיפת ברזל . הבכיר ומהגנ"א, תא"ל רן כוכב , סיכמו את כיווני הפעולה המשותפים בין המערכים בשנים הקרובות. הביקור נערך במהלך ציון אירועי יום השואה הבינ"ל ובמלאת 75 שנה לשחרור מחנה ההשמדה אושוויץ.
