English: Advert offering a reward for orange test by the Metropolitan Psychical Society. A follow up article entitled "Spirits Are Tricky in $5,000 Contest" (New York Times. 29 November, 1908) reported that the "Psychical Society gets many answers, all incorrect, to the orange test."
