English: Bridge on the Meridian Highway in Pierce County, Nebraska; seen from the southwest. The bridge now carries county road 552 across the North Fork of the Elkhorn River. It is part of a 4.5-mile (7.2 km) segment of the highway that is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The bridge was constructed in 1915 by the Canton Bridge Company; it features Warren pony trusses. |
