English: An Eurocopter SA 360 C exhibited at Meravo. Serial number 1022. Built by Aerospatiale in 1981 as part of a series of 36 from the years 1975-1981. One drive-shaft Astazou XVIII turbine engine. 1050 horsepower. 310 km/h. Range 680 km. Net weight 1550 kg. Maximum startweight 3050 km. 9 passengers. Another helicopter of this type (D-HAUL) set the speed record for helicopters to 312 km/h in 1972. The 1022 was used for passenger transport in Japan until 1996, in 1997 it came to Meravo as D-HAUS, where it was used for passenger and cargo transport as well as work flights. Its active life ended in 2009. |
