Français : Ce monument date de la période néolitique, entre les V ième et III ième millénaires avant notre ère. Le Néolithique a été une période de changements fondamentauxdans l'histoire humaine : les populations se sont sédentarisées, elles ont pratiqué l'agriculture, l'élevage et la poterie. On s'interroge toujours sur la destination des menhirs. Il est en granit, mesure actuellement 1,35 m mais il est probablement très profondément enfoui dans le marais de l'ancien lit de la Loire. Il porte plusieurs noms : Menhir de la Prairie de Men-Den, Menhir de la Roche des Près, Menhir de la Prinais. "On raconte que Gargantua voulu autrefois construire un pont sur la Loire : il apporta beaucoup de grosses pierres et les abandonna près du rivage pour aller en chercher d'autres.
