Description
English: This memorial just outside the churchyard of St Mary's, Staunton (Nottinghamshire) is dedicated to the seven-man crew of Royal Air Force (RAF) Avro Lancaster W4270 (61 Squadron), which crashed nearby while on a cross-country training exercise from its base at RAF Syerston on the night of 18 February 1943.
