English: Frances Brooke (died 18 March 1776, aged 37), daughter of Rev John Brooke of Blacklands, Shropshire, and wife of George Salisbury Townshend who died 29 September 1801 aged 59 years, a great-grandson of Sir Robert Townshend, gentleman of the Privy Chamber to King CHARLEs II. and the first knight made by his majesty, on his return to London in 1660, was the son of William Agborough, esq., by Anne, his wife, daughter of Edward Wythes, esq. of Copgrove, in Yorkshire, which lady marrying, secondly, Aurelian Townshend, esq. her son by her first husband assumed the surname and arms of Townshend..
