Description
English: Memorial plaque at the Queen Mother's pavilion.
  • The plaque is in the pavilion at the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh 555779.
  • The inscription reads: "Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother 1900-2002. This national memorial created through the generosity of many both in Scotland and further afield to honour a much loved Scottish lady".
  • All four sides of the wall are covered in pattern of shells, collected by Scottish children, and monogrammed tiles.
