English: Wreaths, honoring the fallen soldiers and service members of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, were placed by French and U.S. service members, ambassadors, advocates, survivors and their families at the Normandy American Cemetery, France, May 29, 2022. The ceremony included both French and U.S. service members, including Soldiers from V Corps, 173rd Airborne Brigade, and the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band & Chorus, to commemorate the 78th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.
