Meltham Road, South Crosland

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Meltham Road, South Crosland. Here there is a slope down to Netherton Village. The Beaumont Arms was built after 1850, presumably to cater for travellers on the Huddersfield to Meltham road as it was outside of the built-up area of Netherton until well into the 20C.
