Description
Nederlands: Meisjesschool van de zusters Franciscanessen van Heythuizen aan de Franciscus Romanusweg in Wyck-Maastricht in de jaren 1920. In het begin van de twintigste eeuw had de school al een gymnastiekzaal, terwijl het vak pas in 1941 verplicht werd. Een gymnastiekjuffrouw had de leiding. Het kloosterkleed van de zusters, habijt en kap, maakte het hen immers moeilijk zelf les te geven op de springmat en aan de ringen. Fotocollectie RHCL Maastricht, GAM 14998.
