English: Meini Hirion near Ynys y Pandy. 'Meini' means 'stones' and 'Hirion' means 'long'. They are not obviously positioned or shaped by ancient man, but they are important enough to have been named at some time. Modern man has jammed a now rusty roll of wire netting in the main crevice. |
