Secretary Johnson and Minister Jambon discussed the importance of effective information sharing in the aftermath of the attacks and focused on opportunities for the United States and Belgium to enhance counterterrorism collaboration, including the screening of travelers and asylum seekers. Secretary Johnson noted the strong history of homeland security and intelligence cooperation between the two countries and reaffirmed the Department’s commitment to routinely share information with our Belgian partners to ensure our collective security.
