Medieval trapezoidal buckle - reverse image
Description
English: An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy single-loop buckle (c. AD 1300-1500). The frame is trapezoidal in plan, convex at the front and flat at the rear. Broadly similar trapezoidal buckles have been published and dated c. 1300-1500 (Whitehead 1996: 26).
