Title
Medieval lead die showing one side
Description
English: A crudely made lead-alloy die of uncertain date. The die is cuboid in shape with square even sides. It has random numbered small holes in each side ranging from 1 to 11.

The die could be Roman, although a medieval date cannot be ruled out. Egan (1997, 1) notes that dice with irregular arrangements seem to be most common between the 13th and 16th centuries. This die has developed a white patina.
