Medieval copper alloy buckle
Description
English: An incomplete copper alloy single loop rectangular medieval buckle with flat section expanded outer loop and slightly out-curving upright sides to the frame, The pin is missing and the wider end of the frame is decorated on oneside with five grooves (a central gove flanked by 2 grooves on either side pointing diagonally) the other side is plain. Circa 1250-1400 AD. Length 24.9mm, width 22.0mm, thickness 3.0mm and weight 3.34g.
