English: A Medieval hammered short cross cut half penny of John 1199-1216. Minted in London by Rener' class 5b/c. North number 970-971.

The obverse has a facing bust with scepter in right hand and the visible inscription[...] VS RE[...] The reverse has a short voided cross with four pellets in each quarter and the inscription [...] RENER
