Medieval ceramic vessel sherd
Description
English: A wheelthrown ceramic vessel sherd of medieval date, probably dating from the 13th to 14th centuries. The sherd is from the base of a vessel, with a small amount of the vessel wall remaining also. The sherd is decorated with a green lead glaze on the exterior whilst the interior is unglazed. Wheel marks are visble on the interior of the base of the vessel sherd.
