Medieval buckle plate
Description
English: An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle plate dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1400). The flat plate is broadly rectangular and broken at one end where part of a single circular perforation survives. The surfaces of the plate have a mottled light green and brown patina. The plate measures 29.2mm long, 17.3mm wide, 0.9mm thick and weighs 2.12 grams.
