Title
Medieval buckle pin
Description
English: A copper-alloy pin from a medieval buckle. The pin is large, and is probably from a circular, single looped buckle. The pin is cast in one, with a pinted tip and folded attachment loop. It measures 47 mm long and is undecorated. It is 3.8 mm thick. The pin probably dates from around 1250 to 1450. Similar examples are illustrated in Egan and Pritchard (1991, page 115; figs 537 to 549).
