Medieval bar mount
Description
English: Medieval copper alloy belt mount with central and terminal lobes. It is 20.5mm long and max.9mm wide. Each terminal lobe has a rivet in situ 4.5mm in length.
The central lobe is decorated with five deep grooves, being crossed at right angles by ?seven incised lines, some of which appear every other line to give a diamond effect, while others simply cross.
Weighs 2.29g. 12th-14th century.
