Description
English: Medieval (1200-1400) copper alloy bar-mount from a belt with a perforated central section and terminal lobes, measuring 24.51x7.88mm and weighing 1.21g.The two terminal lobes are solid, each with a separate copper alloy rivet (in situ). The central lobe has a circular perforation and is flat on the reverse, it is undecorated. Similar bar-mounts from London date to the 13th and 14th century (Egan & Pritchard 1991 nos.1154-1162).
