Description
English: Copper alloy mount. Cast bar mount in the form of a tiny fish [the finder’s suggestion] or an elongated acorn in its cup, with a rectangular-section rivet of length 7mm and width 2.3mm, burred at its end, passing through its widest point, presumably to attach the mount to a leather strap. Gilding traces appear on the display face. Suggested date: Medieval, 1270-1400
