Title
Medieval Pierced Jetton
Description
English: Medieval copper alloy jetton, type unclear; possibly four keys arranged in a cross, a pascal lamb or a different cross on one side. The other side is illegible. The jetton has been pierced with five irregular, sub-circular holes arranged roughly in a pattern with one in the centre and four in an almost square around it. The holes are old and worn. It is 19.9mm in diameter, 0.9mm thick and weighs 1.52 grams.

The form of piercing is similar to modern buttons but the design is clearly that of a Medieval jetton.
