Medieval Buckle
Description
English: A complete Medieval cast copper alloy double-looped annular buckle with central bar, dating to the period (AD 1350-1650). The pin survives, attached to the central bar. The pin is a pointed strip of copper alloy, which originally would have folded over the bar. However, it is has been worn with use and no longer reaches the frame. The buckle demonstrates a green patina but is generally in good condition and remains smooth to the touch.
