Medieval Bar Mount
Description
English: A copper alloy bar mount of Medieval (1250-1450) date. The mount consists of a rectangular sheet, folded longitudinally to form a bar with a semi-circular section. There is a single central rivet hole with separate copper alloy rivet in situ. The metal has a dark green patina. The mount measures 12.51mm by 5.91mm and is 2.81mm thick. The rivet is 5.38mm long, making this the total thickness of the mount with rivet. The object weighs 0.72g.
