English: U.S. Army Sgt. Conner Swongerfield teaches the Heimlich maneuver while U.S. Army Cpl. Smith and U.S. Army Pfc. Elkinwor, all combat medics assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters ‘Hold ‘Em’ Company, 2nd Cavalry Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, demonstrate during a combat life-saving class at Primary School Number 1 in Elk, Poland, June 7, 2024. The children practiced the maneuver for themselves. The 1st Cavalry Division recognizes the importance of connecting with local communities throughout Europe.
