Andrew Black Steedman, New Zealand Medical Corps Citation- London Gazette, 3 June 1915, p5332 "On 27th April 1915 during operations near Kaba Tepe, for gallantly rescuing a wounded man under heavy fire, and again on the 29th April, for attending on two wounded men under heavy fire." Also mentioned in despatches, LG 5 August 1915 3-447 Andrew Black Steedman, New Zealand Medical Corps (1888-1975) Military service Served- WW1- Gallipoli where awarded DCM MID.
